Scuba Diving in the Philippines

Scuba Diving in the Philippines is simply wonderful. After being invited there for a scuba dive trip in August 2004 I have decided that the excursion will NOT be the last trip.

In this section I shall let you know all that you need to know in order to make a great dive trip to the Philippines. The costs involved , the travel, preparation and what to expect and just some general Philippine information. Trust me that you'll not be disappointed. 

My dive buddies and I headed for a diving vacation in Sabang on Mindoro Island in the Philippines. The area of the island where we stayed is known as "Oriental Mindoro". The X on the map shows you the location of Sabang. Situated near Puerto Gallera, Sabang is a sleepy seaside town that is quaint and laid back of a day time with a great and active night life after sun-down. Discos, bars and music pubs are scattered around the town all amongst some very fine restaurants all priced very cheaply in comparison to many scuba holiday destinations. All types of food from Thai and Spanish to Mexican, Italian and typically English can be enjoyed.
